The strong Midwest storm system will track to the northeast across
the eastern Great Lakes and into southern Ontario tonight into
Thursday. Bands of moderate to heavy snow northwest of the storm
track will bring widespread dangerous travel conditions to
portions of Wisconsin and Michigan overnight into early Thursday
morning. While winds and blizzard conditions will gradually wane
overnight, winds will still be gusty enough to cause low
visibility as well as blowing and drifting snow. Conditions
improve region wide by Thursday afternoon and evening as the storm
quickly pulls away.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 AM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
